...and there she goes

1. Our first baby, 2. Grows up and graduates from high school, then 3. Off she goes.

Just like that.

On one of the hottest days of the year, we loaded up the back of the land barge and took Kristin to her new home at McMaster University in Hamilton where she will be studying Earth & Environmental Sciences. The welcoming committee at the school was quite impressive with older students greeting the incoming students with dancing, singing, chanting, and assorted other crazy behaviour. We pulled up in front of the residence and they swooped in and grabbed her boxes and bags and took them up to her room on the third floor.

So, that's it. Our little baby girl has moved out and is moving ahead with the next stage on her journey.
