SquareD22 Quahog

SquareD22 Quahog

Rhode Island geocacher SquareD22 created this bronze geocoin by hand, using the lost wax method of casting. Since he made a maximum of 22 pieces in this metal, I feel quite honoured to own this beautiful little sculpture.

A "quahog" is a clam found down the eastern side of North America and apparently is the state shellfish of Rhode Island. (I guess not all states have a state shellfish.)

Size: 36 x 30 x 10mm | Weight: 37 g
~22 cast in bronze
