Northbound (Antique Copper)

Northbound (Antique Copper)

Northbound is a long time geocacher (since 2002) in Saskatchewan. His personal geocoin has a very interesting theme, and it is worth repeating here:

Saskatchewan soldiers who died in WWII have had a body of water in Northern Saskatchewan dedicated to each of them. As we travel Northbound, let us appreciate and love the beauty of these Northern Locations.

McKeith Lake is named after Allan B. McKeith and Wesley R. McKeith. It is located just over 750 km north of Saskatoon, as the crow flies. By road, it would be closer to 900 km at which point McKeith Lake would be just over 100 km to the northwest. Yes, it is a remote lake!

After the initial release, more geocoins were minted Antique Silver, Antique Copper, and Antique Bronze (which may look like the original gold edition).
