I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Canoeman 2006 Winter

Canoeman is a geocacher in Franklin, Massachusetts who has a lot of personal geocoins. He issued geocoins for each of the four seasons in Silver, Copper, and Gold, plus an extra Summer edition in Black Nickel (that's 13 geocoins issued in one year for those of you who are counting). After acquiring the Spring, Summer, and Fall pieces in copper in a single trade, I waited about 4 months before getting this final piece in a trade. I believe there were only 50 of each copper geocoin minted, so it was good to get one. Now I can put my two silver spares up for trade for someone else!
