I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Stargeezer 1000 (Nickel)

Stargeezer 1000 (Nickel)

Glenville, New York geocacher Stargeezer issued this personal geocoin to celebrate his 1,000 find. The obverse is a wonderful design with a blue-sparkle night sky. Love it. The all-metal reverse gives a tip of the hat to the New York Capital Region Geocachers. As of this writing, Stargeezer has found caches in eleven different countries on six continents. (And in case you didn't guess he is an amateur astronomer.)
