I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Tick (Two Tone)

Tick (Two Tone)

The Tick geocoin is an interesting commercial issue. The code side (I'm calling it the obverse) is pretty cool and makes excellent use of a 3D die to portray the tick. The geocoin was made in four different finishes and I bought the whole four pack just to get this two-tone edition. I'm glad I did because it is the best looking one of the bunch. I had a hard time with the photograph, but the tick's body is actually shiny gold.
