I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Whtwolfden

Whtwolfden

This is the first personal geocoin of Las Vegas, Nevada geocaching family whtwolfden. It was issued in six finishes (polished copper, antique copper, polished gold, antique gold, polished nickel, chrome LE).

The name whtwolfden goes way back to when the father of the group was in the 6th grade and wrote an essay on the Arctic “White” Wolf. That essay led to the nickname White Wolf which stuck through the years, and it became the license plate (WHTWOLF) on his first car. Considering that the whole family of father, wife, and two sons (the den) are caching, it was an easy decision to make their geocaching handle whtwolfden to represent their “Pack”.

Size: 44 x 39 mm
