I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Wretched Skull LE

Wretched Skull LE

A mid-2007 commercial geocoin called the Wretched Skull. The reverse legend says "He Who Passes This Coin Shall Be Rewarded / He Who Steals This Coin Shall Be Cursed." Of course, any of these that ended up traveling would inevitably be "stolen". (Many geocachers have no idea what a geocoin is, and that they should not be keeping it. Many know, and don't care.)

This is the limited edition antique gold skull and bones on antique silver background. There was also an XLE with antique silver skull and bones and black background.

Size: 42 mm
