I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Illinois geocaching couple allwayslooking_99 started geocaching in January 2005, and has been steadily caching ever since (as of December 2012). Their personal geocoin stands out from the rest with an art deco inspired design. The reverse side states "it's how you hide it that counts" which means a geocache hide does not need to be elaborate or complex to be satisfying.

Note: Groundspeak named this coin incorrectly as "alwayslooking geocoin" (one L) and once they make an error on a geocoin name, they seem unable to fix it. I mention it here strictly for the benefit of the search engines.
